Garden Center Team Member

Busy Garden Center in Fairfield County, CT is seeking a retail sales team member to assist with the day to day sales operations. This job is a part time seasonal position that runs from March – Christmas. Wages are competitive.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Daily Customer service with a point of sale system and answering phones.
2. Keeping the sales area and retail greenhouses clean
3. Creating displays and small plantings.
4. Assisting customers with all aspects of the garden center

Applicants should:

1. Be motivated, self-starters. Comfortable completing tasks on their own.
2. Have strong organizational skills.
3. Have great communication skills and enjoy interacting with people on a regular basis. You should be a people person.
4. Have an interest in and a desire to learn about plants.
5. Have strong computer skills.
6. Have excellent time management skills.
