Job Title: Container Design & Seasonal Décor Program Assistant
Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses has a rapidly expanding
Container Garden & Seasonal Decor program, now seeking a PROGRAM ASSISTANT.
Tasks of the Position:
- Manage inventory for installation
- Direct installation crews
- Work with the Container Specialist to develop new design offerings and source materials
- Work with the Container Specialist to develop crew training
- Assist with creating estimates and invoicing
- Assist with program marketing and expansion
- Install & maintain container plantings, vegetable gardens, & annual plantings
Applicants must be:
- Organized
- Efficient
- Possess a sense of urgency
- Observant of details
- Proactive and self motivated
- Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written form
- Positive-minded
- Able to work during all weather conditions
- Able to endure physical tasks for 8+ hours per day
- Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Available to work full time mid-March through December, with possible overtime hours
- Have at least 2 years of experience in landscape design, installation and/or maintenance; a two or four year degree in horticulture or landscape design preferred
