From her very first job in a greenhouse at the age of 16, Jen Plasky has focused her career exclusively in horticulture. She earned a BS in Horticulture and MA in Education from the University of Connecticut. Over the past 20 years, Jen has served in horticultural teaching positions, owned a business, and worked within garden centers and landscape companies in Connecticut, Long Island, and New York City. She also has worked in numerous floral shops and was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2015. She is currently working as a container garden and seasonal decor specialist at Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses and teaching floriculture at SUNY Orange. Click here for more
